Pakistan’s emerging IT sector has achieved remarkable growth, securing its position among the nation’s top five export industries. With a workforce exceeding 600,000 skilled IT professionals and an annual influx of 25,000 IT graduates, the industry boasts robust foundations. It relies on an extensive infrastructure, encompassing over 38 Software Technology Parks and Special Technology Zones, while delivering IT services to 190 countries across diverse domains. Facilitated by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the government proactively nurtures the IT sector, extending incentives such as 100% equity ownership, full repatriation of capital and dividends, and income tax credits for foreign investors engaging in IT exports. Pakistan’s distinction as the fourth largest English-speaking nation and its status as the second largest source of online software development talent position it as an enticing hub for technology enthusiasts and investors alike.
