Kathryn is Head of Audience Science at Wavemaker leading a team of research and social insight specialists. With over 20 years experience in media research she has translated hundreds of key marketing and business questions into qualitative and quantitative research plans.

At Wavemaker she works across an array of clients and sectors including telecoms, entertainment, finance, travel, motors, sport and public sector whilst also leading key research projects and initiatives for the agency. Most recently these have included projects on customer service, ageism in the industry, influencers and understanding the impact of voice using neuroscience.

In 2017 and 2019 her team were awarded Media Agency Research Team of the Year at the Mediatel Research Awards and she won the IPA award for best conference paper at the Media Research Group Conference in November 2018.

Kathryn plays a key role in Wavemaker’s graduate and apprenticeship recruitment drives and sits on the agency’s Collaboration board ensuring Wavemaker is the most collaborative agency in the UK.
