Presentation: How can data science be used for social good?

DataKind UK is a charity with a decade of experience bridging the gap between cutting edge data science, and social causes whose mission can be fuelled by effective use of their data. In this talk, DataKind UK’s expert volunteers present real-life examples of uses of data for social good. They’ll demonstrate how we support social sector organisations to use data science, what approaches and methods can be applied to social good, and how to embed ethics and responsible data use throughout.
