Bassam Zarkout is a seasoned technology executive with 30+ years of experience in the US, Canada, and Europe. As the former Chief Technical Officer at RSD Geneva, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing their Enterprise Information Governance Platform. He co-chairs the Digital Transformation working group at the Industry IoT Consortium and leads the work in that area. At the IIC, he is also actively involved in the activities of multiple technology and security-focused groups, covering digital twins, IoT security, IoT trustworthiness, artificial intelligence, and IoT data spaces. Bassam has contributed to several peer-reviewed ground-breaking and thought leadership IIC publications, including Digital Transformation in Industry and Industrial AI Framework. He is a frequent speaker at various industry events.
