Etienne Bernard has been leading the Machine Learning group at Wolfram Research for the last 5 years. At Wolfram, he worked on developing automatic machine learning tools, a neural network framework, and machine learning applications for the Wolfram Language and Wolfram|Alpha. Before entering the machine learning field, Etienne obtained a PhD in physics from ENS Paris and worked as a postdoctoral scholar at MIT, where he designed Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms to solve physics problems.
