Shrif is a Senior Software Engineer in the Big-Data Management team at LiveRamp, an identity resolution company. He works on designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed systems that process petabytes of data every day. When not slinging Kotlin code during the evenings, he works on LiveRamp’s Data Management Platform. Shrif co-wrote LiveRamp’s open source HyperMinHash implementation, a probabilistic data structure used to count distinct elements in sets, their unions, and their intersections in loglog space. He is an avid public speaker and a thought leader in his space.
