Kunal Anand is the Chief Technology Officer at F5, which provides multi-cloud and application security software, hardware and services to global enterprises, organizations and telecoms. In this critical role, he is responsible for optimizing F5’s current technology portfolio and forging thought leadership for F5’s global AI strategy. F5 partners with industry-leading tech organizations, including open source–and along with our customer innovations, we are bringing our decades of experience in large-volume, secure data movement to share with the AI industry.
Kunal brings 15+ years of AI & ML experience to F5, from model training, employing AI-driven algorithms to enhance internal products, and designing and implementing AI architectures to successfully and securely deploy at an AI scale. He is excited to share his expertise at the AI & Big Data Expo and highlight the importance of auditing network infrastructure when planning for the enormity of AI scale and security.
Before F5, he held the dual role of CTO and CISO at Imperva, which focused on enterprise app security and performance software. Other previous security-focused roles include co-founding startup Prevoty (acquired by Imperva), alongside stints at BBC Worldwide, Gravity, MySpace and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Kunal graduated from Babson College with a B.S. in Computer Science and is newly based at F5 global headquarters in Seattle, Washington in the U.S.
