Mahmoud’s expertise in data engineering, architecture and leadership has allowed him to work across multiple industries including banking, telecommunications, education, e-commerce, traveling and consultancy.
With over 15 years of experience in the data field, Mahmoud began his career as an ETL developer in the telecommunication business. Recognizing the importance of having an end-to-end view of data, he expanded his knowledge to include Business Intelligence (BI) and big data architecture.Mahmoud’s passion for data architecture eventually led him to become a lead data architect for a Dutch bank, where he was responsible for ABN AMRO’s data lineage, data management, data access, and data sharing capabilities.
