Nathan Eskue

Professor, Artificial Intelligence for Manufacturing

TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering

Biography

I’m an industry-recognized AI leader, with over 50 national/international presentations at aerospace, military, space exploration, and manufacturing conferences. With extensive background in business, information systems, data science, manufacturing processes, I lead teams that build rockets, robots, aircraft and satellites. I search for cutting edge technologies and create visions for how these teams can transform their processes, then develop the roadmaps they need to tie accountable business goals to business changing innovation.

My strength lies in knowing the technical side of AI/ML, knowing in-depth manufacturing processes, and understanding the tactical/strategic KPIs of the business.

My specialty is being able to visualize what is possible, paint a vivid picture of that future for engineers to executives, and lead the teams to execute the roadmap, making that vision a reality.

I have led teams with a scope of responsibility that includes division-wide budget development and leadership of the entire material management scope encompassing over 250,000 parts and $3+ billion. I’ve led the discovery, assessment, and implementation of advanced capabilities such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, additive manufacturing, advanced analytics, and robotic applications across the engineering, manufacturing, and logistics functions across Northrop Grumman, driving significant improvements for product lines of rockets, robots, aircraft, and satellites.
